Passau Free Font was designed by Austin Long

Passau (pronounced “pass-ow”) is a display typeface with an antique, handmade feel and a diverse personality. The glyphs are based on hand-painted and engraved signage encountered in the streets of the city of Passau in Southeastern Germany.

The free font file (.otf) includes all basic characters (capital letters only!), numbers, accents and several special characters.

There are custom kerning pairs embedded in the .otf file; so make sure your kerning options in Photoshop, Illustrator, or the program of your choice are set to metric (not optical) in order for the font to appear correctly.
